The Department of Statistics is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to fill the post of finance assistant to support a wide range of activities in the department. You will have excellent organisational skills, demonstrate a good use of initiative and have the ability to prioritise. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work co-operatively and effectively with both staff and students are essential.

We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.

You will be educated to O-level standard or equivalent, with relevant experience in finance administration in the Higher Education sector and possess a high level of IT literacy. You will be an organised person who can work independently and as part of a team.
