The Monash-Warwick Alliance is a pioneering, long-term partnership between two world-leading universities: Monash University (Australia) and the University of Warwick (UK).
Established in 2012, this Alliance is a bold model of international collaboration, designed to tackle global challenges through cutting-edge research, transformative education, and strategic industry.
The Research Fellow will play a key role in this major global initiative focused on advancing mobility and energy efficiency. The candidate will investigate understanding and linking user behaviour and individual electric vehicle (EV) usage patterns to place-based infrastructure demands — including impacts on the electricity grid, renewable energy sources, and requirements for EV charging and energy storage.
Flexible Working
You will be comfortable undertaking collaborative research in order to support the work of the department and developing and enhancing its reputation, both internally and externally.
You will assist the Project Leader and, where appropriate, project collaborators in the successful delivery of the project through a flexible and pro-active approach to research.

PhD Status
If you are near submission of your PhD, or have not yet had it conferred, any offers of employment will be made at Research Assistant level, at the highest spinal point of pay grade 5 (£34,610 per annum).
Upon receipt of evidence confirming the successful award of your PhD, you will be promoted to Research Fellow, at the lowest spinal point of grade 6 (£35,608 per annum).
