This role is a unique opportunity to join and work with a team of talented academic and systems engineers, and to engage with a wide range of industry partners across various sectors, including aerospace, automotive, electronic manufacturing, and construction. The candidate will support the development and deployment of bespoke automation systems, within real-world manufacturing contexts.

The candidate should have practical experience in robotics and/or automation systems (e.g PLCs, SCADA, IoT). Experience or interest in innovative control systems engineering including IEC 61499 would be an advantage.

The candidate will be immersed in a multidisciplinary team of control, mechanical, electronic and software engineers, and should be able to seamlessly collaborate on the development of industry ready solutions.
