Flexible Working
2 year full time fixed term contract ending no later than 31st May 2028.
You will undertake research on new electrocatalysts for electrochemical synthesis of ammonia or related technologies. You will undertake independent and collaborative research and will be expected to write up your research for publication.
You will be expected to deal with any management/administration queries that may arise from the project and produce and present regular project reports ensuring that the project objectives and deadlines are met.
We are looking for a Research Fellow in electrochemical synthesis of ammonia.
You will be associated with EPSRC funded project UK-HyRES: Hub for Research Challenges in Hydrogen and Alternative Liquid Fuels, which is a significant five-year research programme in hydrogen and alternative liquid fuels and will be working with UK academic and industry partners in these areas.
We are looking for a highly motivated researcher with solid research experience in electro-catalysts such as catalysts for electrochemical synthesis of ammonia. Applicants with experience in DFT calculation are welcome but not essential. We expect the candidates would be interested in working on hydrogen and ammonia.
